How long does a full detail take?
A Mini Valet takes around ninety minutes. A Full Polish is a full day, and a Concours commission is two to three days depending on the condition of the paint. We would rather keep the car an extra day than rush the last stage.
Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?
Both. Maintenance work and valeting can be carried out at your home or workplace provided there is space and access. Correction and ceramic work is always done in the studio, where lighting and temperature are controlled. Collection and delivery can be arranged locally.
How long does a ceramic coating actually last?
Our nine-year coating is guaranteed in writing, subject to an annual inspection. In practice it means rain beads and rolls off, road salt struggles to bond, and routine washing becomes far quicker and far safer for the paint.
What exactly is a ceramic coating?
A liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your paint and cures into a hard, glass-like layer. It does not remove existing scratches — that is what correction is for — but once cured it resists chemicals and UV, repels water, and makes every future wash safer and quicker.
What is Paint Protection Film, and do I need it?
A clear, self-healing urethane film applied over the panels that take stone chips — typically the bonnet, front wings and mirrors. Ceramic protects against chemicals and water; film protects against physical impact. On a car that covers motorway miles, the two together are the strongest answer.
Will polishing damage my paintwork?
Not when it is measured. We take paint-depth readings across every panel before any machine touches the car, and again afterwards. If a panel is too thin to correct safely, we will tell you and protect it instead.
Are you insured?
Fully — including motor trade road risk, so your car is covered while it is in our care and while being moved. Certificates are available on request.
